Status: Internship/Part-Time/Remote
Supervisor Title: Director, Immersive Learning
Time Commitment: 15-20 hours/week, June 2023 – August 2023
Compensation: $15/hour for undergraduate students, $17/hour for graduate students
Position Overview:
Under the Station Services Department, the Immersive Learning team builds station capacity through offering scalable workforce development experiences that involve learners through active engagement and reflective thought-provoking components. This is done through multi-level training offerings like: Data Literacy, Digital Immersion, YoPro, and more. The Immersive Learning intern will support the development and facilitation of these station-facing programs.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Develop a cyclical marketing and communication plan for Immersive Learning/Station Services station-facing training programs
• Establish process for collecting and sharing program information including, but not limited to, event details, program timeline, etc.
Requirements for success:
• At least 1-2 years marketing education experience
• Experience collaborating across multiple teams/groups
• Experience with project management
• Experience developing marketing materials and communication plans
Skills the Intern may gain:
• An understanding of the public media system
• Inter-departmental collaboration
• Learning and development program exposure and understanding
• Project management skills
