The Global Distribution Finance team has a yearly Working Capital project, where we are given a goal to achieve by year-end. Basically, the goal (i.e. add'l $30m added on top of the budget), is to increase cash collections, at the same time, reduce the average days to pay. This goal is based on the weighted average days to pay.

The Intern will do an analysis of prior years' data, along with research on the domestic and international market performance, then identify the issues causing the payment delays, and provide strategies to reduce the average days to pay and, at the same time, increase cash collections.

The team's summer format will be hybrid out of our 5555 Melrose Ave office in Los Angeles, CA. They are not looking for a fully remote intern. We do not cover the cost of housing or transportation.

Basic Qualifications:
• Finance or business related majors,
• Proficient in MS, especially excel.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational skills.

Eligibility:
• Internships are available to students who will be Juniors, Seniors or Master's students in the fall of 2023. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
