Communications/PR and Social Responsibility Internships - Summer 2023 (Multiple Locations)

Eligibility:
• Internships are available to students who will be Juniors, Seniors, or Master's students in the fall of 2023. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Internship format varies based on department (i.e. 100% in-person, 100% remote, or hybrid).
• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).

Communications/Public Relations communicates the company's strategic vision both externally and internally; and generates awareness of the channel, driving tune-in to our programming and enhancing the image of our brands through media outreach. They connect with our audiences by telling compelling, consistent and profound stories that ultimately build brand advocacy. They have a strong network of key members of the press and some press teams work closely with influencers to tell brand stories.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Opportunity to write press releases, pitch letters, tune-in alerts for key programming, press strategies and more!
• Assist with producing press kits
• Opportunity to run talent press days, red carpet premiere events and award show tentpoles

Social Responsibility develops and leads multi-platform social impact initiatives, campaigns and partnerships. We're passionate about entertaining and informing the world, and are committed to our legacy of creating lasting impact. Through our work, we build programs that empower, engage and inspire our employees and audiences to make a real difference.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Community outreach and industry research
• Employee engagement event planning & execution
• Exposure to external national cause-marketing initiatives such as: Content For Change, voting in 2022, etc. with ample opportunities to learn about the social impact initiatives across the Paramount brands and divisions
• Drafting post-event news articles and conducting informal interviews for story capture purposes
• Public speaking opportunities at internal meetings

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
