Data Science Intern (Grad Students)

Paramount+ Data Science Team within Data & Insights Group is going full throttle on Content Forecasting this year after successfully building and maintaining User level machine learning models such as SCARP, SLAM, TTOP, PETEY, SAM and Audience Segmentation

Data is pivotal at Paramount, and as part of the Data & Insights Group (DIG), The DIG Data Science Team sits at the forefront of providing insights, recommendations, predictions all driven by data for Paramount+. We are a team of Statisticians, Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers who use data to build ground breaking models to drive Finance, Marketing and Content Strategy decisions.

• First year Master's student majoring in Computer Science, Data Science, IT or related field.
• Python experience.
• Experience with Pandas, scikit learn, and other data science libraries.
• Experience with NLP is a must.
• Experience with Airflow.
• Experience with tools such as SQL, Advanced SQL, git, BigQuery.
• Experience with data management systems, both relational and NoSQL (e.g., HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB).
• Experience with exploratory data analysis using tools like iPython Notebook & Matplotlib.
• Strong problem-solving and creative-thinking skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Experience with developing data pipelines.
• Experience Generative AI is a plus.
• Experience with Google Cloud/Any other Cloud, Jira, and Confluence is a plus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $38.00 - 43.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
