About the Role & ProgramJoin us for the opportunity to intern with the ABC Entertainment, Hulu Originals & Onyx Collective Casting team! We are responsible for overseeing the casting process for all scripted and unscripted primetime television shows for ABC Entertainment, Hulu Originals and Onyx Collective. Our team fosters a supportive and collaborative environment where every member is encouraged to share opinions and think outside the box. This internship offers a hands-on experience for those eager to learn about and gain experience casting in a fast-paced, dynamic TV network environment. The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through December 2025. If selected for this internship, you will report directly to a team member of Casting.
What You Will Do
As an intern with this team, you will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced casting department. You will be a member of a smart, dynamic, and collaborative team, contributing to innovative and creative solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
Some responsibilities in this role may include:
• Analyzing scripts to identify casting opportunities and create breakdowns.
• Supporting various talent initiatives such as Actor Audition Workshops and the Disney Television Discovers: Actors Showcase.
• Supporting with light scheduling, updating lists and casting databases, and overall general office support.
• Working with assistants to maintain our social media accounts
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• A high attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in both Mac and PC operating systems
• A strong interest in Television and the Entertainment Industry
• Ability to identify and champion emerging talent to contribute to authentic and inclusive television content.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with Canva
• Experience working with Casting Programs (Qwire, Cast-It, etc.)
Education
• Senior year preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information
• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through December 2025
• Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, California area
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
