Job Description
DEVELOPMENT & CURRENT SERIES INTERNSHIP (Summer 2025, Hybrid-LA)

Summary:

Nickelodeon Animation Studio is looking for a Summer 2024 Development and Current Series Intern for our Big Kids (Kids 6-11) department. Interns will interface directly with our development and current series team members. From script coverage to attending meetings, and contributing to team projects, this internship will prepare you for a future career in animation development and current series management!

Responsibilities:
• Read and review submissions/scripts/books/writing samples, pitches, providing coverage, tracking and logging all department materials
• Attend department meetings and take notes
• Maintain databases (Pitch Grid, Talent Tracker, Artist Tracker)
• Shadow creative projects in various stages of development
• Learn office administration tasks which include calendaring, file creation and management. Provide research for projects in development or consideration

Qualifications:
• Passion for Animation
• Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Strong reading comprehension
• Strong written and verbal communication along with organizational skills
• Familiarity with Airtable is a plus

Eligibility:
• Internships are available to students pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree. Certifications and continuing education are accepted as well!
• Open to graduates who have graduated within 6 months of June 2025.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/40 hours a week) for 10 weeks starting in June 2025.
• Interns will be required to work on-site in Burbank, CA.
• Employment eligibility work in the United States is required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $20.0.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington State, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
