Responsibilities

NBCUniversal owns a valuable portfolio spanning across broadcast divisions, cable networks, digital businesses, film, international, local media, Peacock and TV studio productions.

The Entertainment Group develops and schedules the network's primetime, late-night, and daytime entertainment programming, including USA, SyFy, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, and Universal Kids. NBC's quality programs and balanced line-up have earned the network critical acclaim, numerous awards and ratings success, including most recently winning the traditional September-to-May season in primetime's key demo, marking the network's third win in four years. NBC has earned more Emmy Awards than any network in television history.

Internships & Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

Production: Research for show projects/segments, log interviews, assist producers with shoot responsibilities, various other production related tasks

Development: Script coverage, research competitive landscape, attend pitch meetings, file and submit pitches in online filing system, administrative support, ad hoc projects

Casting: maintain internal talent database, curate daily casting news, create grids for upcoming theater/comedy events and film festivals, learn essential casting software (Breakdown Express, Cast-It, IMDB, etc), help watch grad showcases as needed and highlight standouts for the office to track, become familiar with the casting process for NY based NBC shows (read scripts, see breakdowns, etc.), special projects as needed

Qualifications/Requirements
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.

Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal
