Responsibilities

Spring 2023 Internship Program:

• Program Dates: January 17 – April 21, 2023
• Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.

Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:
• Marketing Supply Chain Analytics: Come share your enthusiasm for data and interest in Media and Marketing as an intern on the NBCU Marketing Supply Chain Analytics Team! Our group provides data insights, dashboards, and tools supporting the creative teams who make images, videos, and more that promote TV and streaming brands such as Peacock, Bravo, Telemundo, E!, Universal Kids, and more. In our matrix organization, our extended team includes business engagement, PMO project managers, product managers, engineers, data analysts, QC specialists, and clients ranging from high-level executives to hands-on, creative producers & technologists involved in the day-to-day creation of marketing assets. Collaborate with us on data preparation, documentation & product QA, and more for this dynamic business.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
• Must be willing to work from Stamford, CT.

Desired Characteristics:
• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Proficiency with Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Organized & Detail-Oriented – You double and triple check every logistic before it's show time Strong written & verbal skills.
• Analytical – You've never met a data point you didn't like. You can tell a story with data and numbers with ease.
• Resourceful – If you don't have the answer, you figure it out. You're comfortable navigating a complex environment to obtain info and seek buy-in.

Additional Requirements:
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols in select work settings or where jurisdictionally mandated.
