Job Description

TV Distribution (Sales) Intern

Responsibilities

Your Tasks:

Within the TV Distribution department, your mission will be to assist the French sales team in the distribution of NBCUniversal content to linear and new media customers in France, in various European countries (Belgium, Switzerland, Greece and CIS territories) and in French-speaking Africa. Your tasks will include:
• Preparation of list of availabilities: fetching availabilities from the database to inform customers, help in making lists of availabilities for customers
• Assistance in the follow-up of commercial negotiations
• Help with client briefs and marketing presentations
• Program viewing and script reading (unscripted and scripted), preparation of files and identification of channels susceptible to be interested
• Monitoring and realization of market studies (programs broadcast on the PAF, audience monitoring, new actors, media chronology...)
• Preparation and follow-up of customer and/or market screening events (MIPCOM, LA Screenings, etc.)
• Various administrative tasks: making appointments, agenda management…

Qualifications
• 4/5 years of university education in media/audiovisual, Sciences Po, business school, literary and artistic property
• Very good English proficiency
• rigor, autonomy, initiative and desire to learn
• First experience in a media company preferred
• Ability to prioritize
