Job Description
The Publicity Intern will be responsible for assisting the Publicity and Promotions Manager across a range of theatrical releases across the Queensland region. Working with publicity teams across NSW and VIC, you will be responsible for:
• Attending weekly Marketing and team WIPs
• Preparing purchase orders, updating PO trackers and sending invoices for payment
• Prize fulfillment, sending out merchandise and prizing to winners
• General administration duties
• Preparing and sending film review reports
• Update the media, influencer and exhibition database to ensure contacts are most current
• General administrative and event support at screenings and premiere event
• Sending out screening invitations and compiling RSVP's and door list
• Central Diary booking management
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
• Proficient in Outlook and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Well organized with great prioritization skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Excellent communication and a great team player
• This part time role requires a 9-month commitment, from February 2026 - November 2026

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
• Passionate about the film industry
• Currently undertaking university study in communications or marketing-based discipline

This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
