Responsibilities

Role Summary: The Internship Experience Coordinator is the backbone of the NBCUniversal Internship Program team. Serving as the main point of contact for incoming & current Interns, the Internship Experience team takes ownership of the onboarding process, executes Intern events & developmental programming, handles internal communications to key stakeholders, and ensures an excellent onboarding and Intern experience. This position provides a holistic support system to the incoming & current Interns, and reports into the Director, Internship Program Experience. In addition to the responsibilities of the day-to-day role, this role will be a part of the onboarding & offboarding pillar for the program, as detailed below, providing an opportunity to become a subject matter expert in onboarding & offboarding operations. As needed, the Internship Experience team will participate in project work to support efforts in enhancing the program brand, experience, and developmental efforts. This Coordinator role will also have the opportunity to partner with our Communications, Social Media, and Events & Programming team members to gain more exposure in areas of interest.

Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Offboarding
• Partner with Director, Internship Program Experience to re-assess onboarding process to ensure an efficient and streamlined approach
• As Interns accept offers, process offer letters and ensure timely completion of all new hire paperwork & background checks
• Continuously assist with updating SAP position numbers to accurately reflect open and occupied intern positions
• Hire Interns into SAP and confirm proper finance and business coding
• Partner with the Payroll team to ensure Intern is setup to clock their time for payroll processing on their first day
• Ownership of I-9 processing, as Interns being each program
• As Interns complete their programs, process system separations and confirm final pay details
• Partner with the Payroll & Tax teams as needed to verify accurate pay information for departing Interns
• Provide support to incoming and current interns via the general mailbox
• Partner with other team members on special projects and overall intern experience

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of relevant work experience, including but not limited to talent acquisition coordinator, human resources coordinator, recruiting, administrative assistant, or event planning
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and SharePoint regularly
• Ability to manage high volume data with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong Interest in: talent development, organizational development, early career programming or human resources, and an overarching desire to help people

Eligibility Requirements: • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must live locally in the greater New York City area, with the ability to be in the office 2-3 days/week
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols if the Company determines your job position requires access an NBCUniversal worksite
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols

Desired Characteristics
• Experience with Brassring and/or SmartRecruiters
• Experience with SAP
• Previous experience as a Campus Coordinator or Talent Acquisition Coordinator
• Familiarity with onboarding processes for high volume internship, rotation, or entry-level programs
