THE POSITION – Talent Team Intern
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live entertainment business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 25 hours per week.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Assist the booking team in organizing & executing artist contracts, artist insurance needs, and compiling a file of show flashes
• Attend shows with the intent to observe and learn the settlement process
• Send daily local and regional ticket counts
• Research artist demographics and social media presence
• Compare and analyze new media advertising
• Assist the ticketing team with manual ticket counts for non-TM venues and processing internal order requests for LN promoted shows in the region
• Assist the ticketing team in setup of Live Nation promoted shows at 3rd party venues in the region
• Final internship project will be assigned at the beginning of the internship program to be presented at the end
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Learn processes of booking, marketing, and ticketing a show
• Learn how to interpret marketing data and develop marketing strategies
• Learn how to build and maintain relationships with different departments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University; Preferably in a field related to the internship you are applying for
• Junior or Senior standing
• Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs. and occasional sitting.
