THE JOB

Live Nation Special Events, a department of Live Nation Entertainment, is in search of a highly motivated, organized and most importantly, enthusiastic individual who is interested in working within the hospitality and event-sales industry. As a Live Nation Special Event Marketing Intern, you will gain valuable, real-world sales & marketing experience for private events while reporting to the National Marketing Manage and Special Events Coordinator by assisting the entire Live Nation Special Events department.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Assist marketing team by making recommendations of new art concepts, promotions and assuring that assets are aligned with brand standards.
• Work with Marketing Coordinator in requesting, editing and monitoring production of marketing collateral.
• Create engaging blog and social media content.
• Work with Marketing Coordinator to create, engage, and implement social media campaigns and blog publishing.
• Provide support and audit for department websites.
• Expand presence in the digital space by creating and auditing profiles for venue sourcing.
• Perform research into our industry and provide actionable tips.
• Create excel spreadsheet reports to track specific performances for venues and campaigns.
• Help manage division page on company intranet and assist with photography archives.
• Assist the Marketing Coordinator with assigned marketing initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• This is a paid internship and must be currently enrolled junior or senior in an accredited college, university, or trade school or a recent graduate.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Receive on-the job training for up to 25 hours per week for a 12 week session.
• Must have ability to think quickly, creatively.
• Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks.
• Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and maintain exceptional work ethic.
• Must be punctual, organized and detail oriented.
• Internet savvy, proficient with using the net as a research tool.
• You must have FULL knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and be able to do various projects unsupervised.
