PRODUCT INTERN – DATA PRODUCTS

Location: London Division: Data Products

Line Manager: Sr Manager, Product – Data Products Contract Terms: Permanent, 40 hours per week

THE TEAM

Ticketmaster's Enterprise Data Product team sits at the heart of our Enterprise line of business and it aims to empower Ticketmaster's B2B clients to run their business, sell more tickets and generate incremental revenue with the right data, through the most appropriate tools, at the right time, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

THE JOB

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Product Management Intern to join our Enterprise Data Product team, which is part of Ticketmaster's Enterprise line of business. As Product Intern, in our team you will assist in building products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on industry best practices and your collaboration with our market representatives and clients.

In this role, you will be able to develop general understanding of live events and ticketing and the competitive landscape, as well as being exposed to the definition of valuable, usable and feasible Reporting and Insights products and solutions that allow Ticketmaster B2B clients (promoters, venues, sports clubs, artists…) to harness the power of their own data to fuel their own business and ensure their efficiency and effectiveness.

You will be mentored by seasoned Product Managers and can expect to gain on the job experience in many aspects of Product Management. You will be expected to have an appetite to focus on our users, markets and data to understand their problems and find innovative solutions to deliver on the needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative and is curious about large scale, data-driven applications using the latest technology.

This is a full-time paid internship that will be recruited on a 12 months fixed term contract commencing in Sept 2023.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Analyse market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research and analysing data and reporting needs
• Define product specifications using clear and consistent user stories with any acceptance criteria or supporting documentation supplied.
• Collaborate with creative and engineering teams during the development cycle to ensure the product meets customer requirements.
• Analyse and report on the performance of features in production, reflecting on successes and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Assist Product Managers with profitability analysis and business cases
• Conduct competitive benchmarking
