Job DescriptionTHE POSITION – MARKETING INTERN
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live entertainment business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 25 hours per week.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Show & Campaign Support
• Collect, organize, and distribute marketing assets (photos, video reels, ad mats, tour materials)
• Help monitor social media trends and fan engagement for touring artists
• Support regional show announcements, on-sales, and closing campaigns
• Draft social copy for IG, TikTok, Facebook, and X posts (venue & event-specific)
Digital & Content Marketing
• Assist in content creation: IG stories, short-form video editing, fan engagement features
• Capture venue and event content as needed (behind the scenes, marquee shots, merch, fans)
• Organize photo and video libraries after shows
Grassroots & Local Promotions
• Assist with street team outreach-local partners, colleges, lifestyle businesses
• Help with flyer distribution, poster swaps, and placement throughout the community
• Research potential local partners for upcoming shows or genre-specific campaigns
Event Day Support
• Assist with media check-in, photographers, and capturing content
• Support VIP activations, pre-show events, and sponsor integrations
• Gather fan photos, marquee displays, merch table shots for social posting
• Administrative Support
• Help track marketing efforts in spreadsheets, reports, and recaps
• Update marketing logs, ticket counts, and promotional calendars
• Help with adding show content to digital marquees
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Learn the process of marketing concerts
• Learning how to properly research target demographics
• Learn how to build and maintain relationships with outside organizations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University; Preferably in a field related to the internship you are applying for
• Recent Graduate, Junior or Senior standing
• Due to the nature of the position, candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs. and occasional sitting.
This program is during Spring 2026.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$16.90 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
