Title: Intern – Event Partnerships (Unpaid - For College Credit)

EVENT PARTNERSHIPS INTERN JOB SUMMARY

The Event Partnerships Intern will play a key role in supporting our events and marketing programs. The role will also support the team by helping with events management, execution, and communication. The Event Partnerships Intern reports to the Senior Director of Event Partnerships. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual interested in learning more event planning, partnerships, and marketing. The internship offers exciting hands-on experience and the opportunity to gain new skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in ensuring proactive partnership planning, and internal communication for Made in America festival
• Support the marketing creative team on presentation buildouts
• Assist in the program content development for the festival partners
• Assist in managing pre- and on-site partner execution (tracking via database, generating reports) for the festival
• Work with Partnership Marketing Team to plan and execute all partner deliverables to ensure a successful event
• Participate in planning meetings including distributing agenda and taking minutes/notes
• Monitor the event content on the website and social media sites to ensure they are updated/team up with the digital team to ensure partner deliverables are communicated
• Assist with partner acknowledgement and follow-up

QUALIFICATIONS
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment and still meet deadlines
• Dynamic self-starter who takes initiative, highly reliable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and follow- up skills
• Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This internship is available for the general Spring semester. This is a non-paid internship, with flexible hours (minimum of 16 hours per week) to reflect your necessary college credit requirements.
