Job Description
Lionsgate WWTV Sales & Distribution team is seeking a forward thinking candidate able to thrive in a dynamic team environment for our Toronto (Canada) office . An internship role with our team will be project-driven and ideal candidate will have a keen interest for Television and Film, exceptional communication skills and motivation to learn in a fast paced environment.
Lionsgate is a leading global entertainment company with a strong and diversified presence in motion picture production and distribution, television programming and syndication, home entertainment, family entertainment, digital distribution, new channel platforms and international distribution and sales.
Under the direction of the Executive Vice President & Managing Director and along with our Toronto-based team the candidate will be responsible for researching and coordinating several key projects while reporting into our Manager, TV Sales and Distribution.
Responsibilities
• Aid in the creation of a ''territory overview'' including but not limited to Canada as part of the global TV landscape
• Gather competitive analysis of local and global content platforms
• Screen current films, upcoming television series, read script materials and provide detailed notes
• Participate in internal local and global sales meetings, as requested
Qualifications & Skills
• Ideally working towards a undergraduate degree in Media, Film, Marketing or Commerce in Canada
• Excellent Communication writing skills
• Excel and Power Point experience required
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment
• Previous internship or related experience considered an asset

Details
• All internships will be onsite
• Interns can work a minimum of 30 hours/week and up to a maximum of 40 hours/week
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program
• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
• Graduate students are eligible to apply
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• All internships are paid
