Job Description
Summary of Position
This internship is designed for a highly motivated, analytically minded candidate with a strong interest in streaming media, consumer behavior, and marketing strategy. The intern will support two core focus areas:
• FAST platform user experience analysis
• SVOD market and Gen-Z audience engagement research
The role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with data and insights, and the ability to synthesize research into clear, actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
In addition, the role may handle other projects that focus on the core business of FAST & SVOD with exposure to cross-functional support teams including technology, marketing, finance, sales and analytics.

Responsibilities
FAST Platforms & User Experience
• Analyze the consumer journey across major FAST platforms from a user perspective
• Document and compare user flows, navigation, and content discovery experiences
• Evaluate FAST and AVOD product capabilities (e.g., start-over, binge, EPG structure)
• Identify similarities, differences, and opportunities across platforms
• Summarize insights in presentation-ready materials for Sales, Marketing, and Leadership
SVOD & Gen-Z Audience Strategy
• Research the SVOD competitive landscape with a focus on Gen-Z engagement
• Analyze consumer behavior trends related to discovery, engagement, retention, and churn
• Evaluate how SVOD services use product features, content positioning, and marketing to attract younger audiences
• Assess the role of digital, social, and influencer-driven marketing strategies
• Translate research and data into insights and recommendations to support the SVOD launch

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, trends, and consumer insights
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Collaborative, proactive, and resourceful
Nice to Haves
• Familiarity with FAST, AVOD, and/or SVOD business models
• Interest in marketing strategy, consumer research, or media analytics
• Knowledge of Gen-Z culture, digital platforms, and emerging media trends
• Passion for film, television, and streaming content
• Foreign language skills are a plus

Program Dates: Tuesday, June 9th – Thursday, August 13th, 2026 (10 Weeks)
The Lionsgate Internship Program is designed to identify, recruit, and develop a diverse group of students that will gain meaningful educational experiences, professional growth, and career opportunities.

The Lionsgate Summer 2026 Internship program dates are: June 9th - August 13th, 2026
All interns are required to attend orientation on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026.
*Deadline to apply is Friday, Feb. 13th
Details
• Interns must not work more than 40 hours per week
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
• Graduate students are eligible to apply
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• All internships are paid
• Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office
