Job Description
Lionsgate is currently seeking a virtual Data Strategy & Innovation intern for Summer 2021. This is an exciting opportunity to learn from a growing department of critical thinkers, strategists, researchers, analysts, innovators and engineers who are solving some of the Motion Picture Group's biggest challenges.

The intern will work with both Research & Analytics and Data Strategy, Products & Platforms teams to perform market research, participate in build-vs-buy analyses, and track and compile industry and box office trends.

Responsibilities
• Perform market research on data-centric tools related to the Entertainment industry including scheduling demos and providing evaluations

• Provide insights to and participate in build-vs-buy analyses with the Data Strategy, Products & Platforms team

• Learn the fundamentals of how data is used throughout the motion picture industry

• Learn the basics of product management at a studio

• Assist Research & Analytics team in reviewing data and pulling verbatim quotes for film specific reports

• Learn all phases of a research project including: survey design and questionnaire development, data analysis, and report writing and data storytelling

Qualifications & Skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Critical thinker

• Some hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization using Excel, Tableau experience a plus

• Basic knowledge of data and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe) a plus

• Genuine interest in the entertainment industry a plus

Important Dates

The Lionsgate Summer 2021 Internship program dates are: June 21st–August 27th, 2021.

All interns are required to attend orientation on Monday, June 21st, 2021.

Details
• All internships will be virtual and remote

• Interns can work a minimum of 30 hours/week and up to a maximum of 40 hours/week

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program

• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)

• Graduate students are eligible to apply

• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program

• All internships are paid
