Hourly Pay Range: $16.90 - $18.90
Our part-time, paid internship program provides hands-on experience in a dynamic, innovative environment within the entertainment industry. Interns can work up to 29 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments. Participants will engage in real projects, gaining practical industry insights while developing professional skills through workshops and career-building sessions. Summary
Legendary Entertainment is seeking an intern for its Corporate Finance & Development group. The group is focused on corporate finance, corporate development, and strategic planning. This individual will work with the rest of the finance team and report directly to the Senior Analyst of Corporate Finance & Development. In addition, the intern will work closely with the rest of the finance team and report directly to the Senior Analyst of Corporate Finance & Development.
Responsibilities
• Analyze potential profitability of individual film and TV projects
• Assist in recurring dashboard reporting and development tracking
• Create presentations for senior management on various aspects of the film, TV, and digital industries including trends. Also prepare M&A overviews.
Requirements
• Must be enrolled in a top-tier college/university/MBA program with strong GPA taking at least one class prior to participation in the internship program or must have graduated from a college/university/MBA within the past 6 months
• A GPA of 3.5 or above is highly preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Previous experience working in finance and/or media/entertainment preferred
• Extensive quantitative and financial modeling experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to present and defend research
• Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills
