Job Description
The Internship Program

The Hearst Magazines Summer Internship Program is a paid, full time 11-week program for undergraduate rising juniors, seniors, and graduate students. From June 5 – August 18, 2023, our interns will gain an immersive, hands-on experience with one of the top publishers in the world.

In addition to working with their assigned team on important projects, interns will gain access to Hearst's diverse professional network by participating in intimate learning sessions and join fun peer networking activities throughout the summer. Program participants will also leverage Hearst's resources to work on and present a group project to senior leaders at the conclusion of the program.

The Good Housekeeping Institute is the product testing and research division of Good Housekeeping. This is a very cross-functional, muti-disciplinary team that comprises engineers, chemists, fiber scientists, culinary pros, data specialists, registered dietitians as well as writers, editors and product analysts. As the only entity that's consistently tested and recommended products for over 120 years, we are the pioneer and the established market leader for product reviews and related consumer insights. The team tests about 15,000 products each year and produces about 200 pieces of content each month, across print, digital and social. We also handle all GH Seal evaluations, GH awards programs and other licensing programs as well as contribute across other departments including commerce, SEO, membership and books.

This summer, the Good Housekeeping Institute is looking for a Testing and Content Intern to support their team in NYC.
