The Job
Reporting to the Manager, HBO Editorial Strategy & Social Media, this position will be responsible for writing, editing, publishing, pitching and/or starring in content for the HBO Max social channels

The Daily
• Ideate and execute always-on, organic social campaigns for the HBO Max social accounts.
• Create original content for the HBO Max social channels.
• Assist in managing social accounts including gaining experience in content strategy, campaign analysis, and community management.
• Write high-engagement and error-free social media copy that reflects the HBO Max brand voice.
• Identify and clip content from the HBO Max library to be featured in marketing materials.
• Update daily social media content calendar across all platforms ensuring brand consistency and accuracy.
• Schedule and publish to brand social profiles.
• Community management on brand social profiles.

The Essentials
• Previous experience maintaining social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube, for a media or entertainment brand is a plus but not required.
• Interest in and or experience on TikTok and YouTube either personally or professionally.
• Experience and/or knowledge or interest in working on video campaigns and creative.
• Knowledge of social media best practices and analytics tools.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in, and knowledge of, HBO and HBO Max programming is important to the role.

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Spring 2022 program dates are January 24th - April 15th; must be available for full program duration
• Part-time schedule (16-24 hours/week) designed to work around class schedule
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
