Calling all PR Rock Stars! The Hawkins luxury travel public relations team at Finn Partners has an immediate opening for a creative, communicative, and highly organized INTERN to join our winning New York City based team. We want to hear from you, if you reside in the NYC Metropolitan area, have an interest in communications – traditional - and social media, have passion for travel and hospitality, and possess a desire to learn and grow with us. The Intern will support the Managing Partner and the Enterprise Director. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter that can provide high-level administrative support.

Responsibilities:
• Support Managing Partner with executive administrative responsibilities such as calendar management, special projects, coordination of travel plans and general administrative support as well as providing occasional personal assistance as needed. i.e., running errands, picking up packages, mail, etc.
• Conduct research, prepare reports, organize materials, and organize logistics for new business presentations as well as provide technical support if needed.
• Answer electronic communications and phone calls and directs calls to appropriate parties or takes messages as well as assure appropriate person receives messages.
• Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence
• Maintain confidentiality with unquestionable integrity and discretion
• Assist with event organization for the agency or clients, as needed
• Provide assistance to Enterprise Director as needed

Requirements:
• Must be a current student attending college or university, who is available to work as an intern up to 20 hours per week.
• Possesses excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Canva.
• Has interest in or experience with graphic design.
• Is accountable for actions and possessing the ability to follow through with tasks from start to completion.
• Has strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work effectively under stress, meet short deadlines, and take direction.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple schedules and produce accurate work despite frequent interruptions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Solid knowledge of the rules of English grammar and composition.
• Solution-oriented person who understands the problem that needs to be solved and considers solutions, rather than looking to be told what to do and just doing it
• Capacity to perform assigned duties with minimum supervision.
• Aptitude in learning and using new software programs as systems are upgraded.
• Must be able to work in the office on occasion as well as work remotely
