Summer 2024 TV Music Internship:
• Applications close: April 1, 2024 at 11:59pm PT
• Program Dates: June 10, 2024 - August 16, 2024
• Time Commitment: Full-Time (40 hours per week required)
• Format: Hybrid, In-Person

Job Description

Responsibilities: ''What would you say you do here?''
• The Music Intern will have the opportunity to work on processing cue sheets, manage assets and handle music publishing requests
• Breaking down scripts
• Tagging and organizing the DWATV music library
• Watching our content to help create cue sheets
• Pulling music for our editorial team
• Organizing our administrative files
• Observing recording sessions, spotting sessions and watching music preview for educational purposes
• Putting together weekly newsletter to be distributed to the studio with relevant music industry news

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: ''What do I need to have in order to do this job?''
• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date) studying Music/Music Industry/Business of Music (or something related)
• Pop culture/media savvy with knowledge of artists and their work
• Strong computer proficiency, including knowledge of programs like Word, Excel, and Gmail
• Professional manner and excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and have the ability to multitask
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be willing to work in Glendale, California
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols

Desired Qualifications: ''What can I offer?''
• Film/TV/Media majors or Music Industry majors preferred
• Strong curiosity about a career in music and/or music administration
• Current class standing of Junior or above (or equivalent)

Hourly Rate: $17.00

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
