In the DreamWorks Internship Program, interns work in an engaging and exciting environment alongside creative leaders and artists who are committed to building an inclusive and collaborative culture. Interns are immersed into TV and Feature animated productions while gaining hands-on experience at our studio. The Internship Program also showcases best-in-class opportunities by offering executive speaker series, professional/career development workshops, artistic classes, practice art tests, community outreach opportunities, movie screenings, and much more! The Studio Platform department strives to deliver the next generation of cloud-native animation production pipeline.

The Core Production Services team within the Studio Platform department is responsible for the development and support of core production oriented Studio web services supporting asset data management, file/resource management, workflow management, identity management, and real-time messaging.

Summer 2024 Platform Services Internship:

• Time Commitment: Full-Time (40 hours per week required)
• Format: Hybrid (In-Person) or Remote

Job Description

Responsibilities: ''What would you say you do here?''
• The Intern will contribute as a member of the development team with a focus on the design, development, and support of back-end web services and systems.
• The intern will work closely with experienced Web Service Engineers
• This intern will develop and maintain production related web services, build tests, documentations, and learn how web services enables Animation production at Dreamworks.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: ''What do I need to have in order to do this job?''
• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be willing to work in Glendale, California
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols

Desired Qualifications: ''What can I offer?''
• Majoring in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering preferred
• Familiar with: o Java & Java technologies - Spring, Spring Boot, Maven, Eclipse/NetBeans/IntelliJ o Relational databases - PostgreSQL o NoSQL technologies - MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase, Redis o Experience with Java and Python development is a plus

Hourly Rate: $20.00-$35.00

Salary Details
Salary Range: $20.00 to $35.00 Per Hour ($ USD)
