In the DreamWorks Internship Program, interns work in an engaging and exciting environment alongside creative leaders and artists who are committed to building an inclusive and collaborative culture. Interns are immersed into TV and Feature animated productions while gaining hands-on experience at our studio. DreamWorks Learning and Artistic Development team seeks a positive and hard-working intern who is self-motivated, ready to jump in, and curious about what it's like to work in Education and Talent Development at an animation studio! This role will support programming developed through our internal education team designed to grow and inspire talent by providing learning opportunities that promote creative exploration and career longevity. This intern will help support the development of instructional content through research, data gathering and analysis. Additional tasks may include supporting day to day set-up and breakdown of workshops, calendaring, and designing fliers & invitations.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of instructional content, resources and workshop materials
• Work closely with the Learning & Artistic Development team and provide day to day administrative support
• Conduct research and gather data to help inform program design and measure impact
• Support the facilitation of workshops and employee events, as needed
• Design visual collateral such as fliers, digital invitations, and presentation decks
Qualifications
''What do I need to have in order to do this job?''
• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be willing to work in Glendale, California
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• A great teammate with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented and reliable with strong organizational skills
• Interest in editing and/or graphic design
• A genuine interest in Learning & Development, Talent Development or Education in creative industries
Desired Qualifications: ''What can I offer?''
• Background in museum education, arts education or public programming (skilled in workshops, scheduling, etc.).
• Experience with event planning and logistics, flier design/graphic design, and communicating with stakeholders of varying levels
• Proficiency in the Adobe Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere)
• Proficiency in Google Suite and calendaring system, MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of the animation studio production pipeline is helpful, but not required
Hourly Rate: $ 17.28/hr
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
