About Your Role:

We are looking for a Front-End Developer Intern to be part of our front-end UGC platform team. You'll be working to enhance features that will be used on brands such as AllRecipes.com and MyRecipes.com, allowing hundreds of millions of people each month to save and organize their favorite recipes into a single location. This program spans 16 months and will be starting in May of 2024.

About your contributions:
• Develop responsive and elegant cross-platform functionality in an extensible, custom-built framework.
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and product managers in a dedicated scrum team to fully realize the product vision.
• Partner closely with other developers on your team with the support from many others across the organization.
• Keep up with new technologies and approaches to solve problems and improve existing systems.

About You:
• General understanding of HTML, CSS/SASS, vanilla JavaScript, and Git workflow
• Interest in a front-end role, ideally with publicly accessible apps or a portfolio to show off your skills
• General understanding of and interest in working with a component-based web framework, particularly one with a server-side templating aspect (e.g., Vue+Nuxt). Without this you should have significant experience with at least one server-side templating language - think JSP, Handlebars or the PHP templating in WordPress.
• A plus if you have worked with frontend web frameworks such as Vue, Angular or React.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and grow as a developer
• Publishing or digital media experience (including work with WordPress) is preferred but not required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field or foreign equivalent
