About the Team:

Brides

Brides is a leading authority in the wedding space, guiding and empowering couples through every stage of planning their big day. Filled with ideas, inspiration, and expert-led insight on wedding-related topics, such as fashion, décor, etiquette, food, and music, we help engaged pairs navigate this process with ease. Anyone else involved in the celebration, from the mother of the bride to an invited guest, can also head to this in-depth resource for tips and advice. In addition to the day itself, we also cover other lifestyle content related to the wedding industry, such as dating, proposals, pre-wedding parties, anniversaries, and celebrity news.

We've been around for nearly 90 years, which makes us the longest-standing wedding publication in the United States. In 2019, Brides became a digital-only publication and a part of Dotdash Meredith's portfolio. Behind the scenes, we're a small editorial team that's committed to celebrating love, championing diversity, and helping couples feel confident in their wedding planning journey.

Byrdie

At Byrdie, our mission is simple: to celebrate individuality and empower our readers to find confidence, community, and joy through beauty and style. Our hair, our facial features, our bodies: They can reflect culture, sexuality, race, and even politics. We believe when it comes to our beauty coverage-from how beauty products are chosen for review to why we write the things we do-the more transparency, the better. That's why we feel it's important to share exactly how we go about doing what we do: from how we create our content to who's behind it and more.
