The Theatrical Licensing department is currently seeking a hardworking, organized, multi-tasker to join our team. As an intern, you will work and learn all aspects of the stock & amateur Theatrical Licensing business including: upkeep and maintenance of a robust musical theatre catalog, the development of new shows for stock & amateur release, the creation and publication of script and score materials, and close collaboration with other departments and external partners in areas including marketing, finance, and education. If selected for this role, you will report to the Director, Theatrical Licensing.

What You Will Do
• Coordinate and update physical & digital archives of theatrical materials, including script documents and logo artwork files
• Assist in updating The Lion King JR. and KIDS materials, including curriculum content for The Lion King Experience website
• Help conceive and execute program initiatives to mark the 20th anniversary of Disney Theatrical Licensing
• Support the workflow and publication of printed and digital materials for Disney's musical theatre catalog of licensed titles, including scripts, scores, artwork, and educational content

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Curiosity about musical theater licensing business, especially shows geared toward performers aged K-9
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple projects
• Strong writing ability and command of grammar
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Music notation knowledge and/or experience a plus
• Collaborative spirit, positive attitude, eagerness to learn

Education
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in theater, music, business or related area

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Position is located in New York City, NY

Additional Information
• The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 through August 2024
• Must be able to work 40 hrs per week, Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm EST onsite
• Must have housing and reliable transportation to/from work
