About the Role & Program:

Disney Television Group is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Labor Relations J.D. Intern to assist the Labor Relations Department. The position offers practical experience applying labor law to collective bargaining agreements, exposure to union relations, participation in negotiation strategies and grievance meetings, as well as opportunities to develop executive-level legal writing skills.
What You Will Do:
• Analyze various collective bargaining agreements and assist business units with implementation of contract terms (e.g., wages, hours, and working conditions) to ensure compliance with those agreements.
• Investigate, handle and resolve grievances and information requests brought by unions and guilds.
• Conduct research and write memoranda on relevant labor laws.
• Prepare summaries and presentations on various issues under our collective bargaining agreements.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Relevant coursework in labor and employment law, entertainment business, entertainment law, or intellectual property.
• Ability to multitask and handle several projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in research and using tools (similar to Lexus Nexus) to gather and present information.
• Strong attention to detail with high-volume document processing.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Collaborative teammate who can also work independently

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• Previous internship in entertainment business or entertainment law, with theatre interest, a plus

Education:
• Pursuing a J.D. degree and currently enrolled at an accredited law school, in your 1L or 2L year at the time of internship.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information:
• Must provide full work availability from June through December 2026.
• Must provide own housing and transportation, Position is located in Burbank, CA.
The pay rate for this role in California is $41.40 per hour.
