About the Role & Team

Disney are seeking an intern for a 12-month term to assist our Media Networks Serbia team in the Balkans with everyday business practices, data management, and operational activities.

This role offers the chance to aid the team in routine tasks and extensive projects, providing a comprehensive view of the TV industry's workings in the region, including sales and marketing within the Pay TV sector.

The position is based in our Serbian Disney office four days a week, plus the flexibility of one day working from home.

What You Will Do

General:
• Gain an understanding of the Balkans Pay TV markets and contribute insights for strategy development.
• Learn about the TV media landscape in Serbia. Monitor competitors and provide information and insights from the market.
• Learn about Disney's channels' performance, ratings, and upcoming projects.

Channel Distribution:
• Learn to maintain internal reporting systems and assist in invoicing and payment processes.
• Assist in creating deals with clients under the guidance of senior team members.
• Keep informed about competitors' activities in the market and share insights with the team.
• Assist in certifying subscriber reports and ensuring alignment of reporting parameters.
• Assist with administrative tasks, as well as internal and external reporting activities.

Ad Sales:
• Coordinate with our agencies and clients
• Administration of order booking in Mydas system.
• Monitor campaigns - performance of each campaign according to ordered, predicted, booked and delivered as TRPs, budgets of spots, etc.
• Support the Sales Executives in preparing presentations, offers, etc.
• Prepare post-campaign evaluation reports; prepare media plans to support front office.

Marketing:
• Support the planning and executing of marketing activities in line with the policy of global and local market-specific requirements.
• Understand the attitudes and behaviors of channels' key audiences to identify best-suited touchpoints.
• Gather and analyse marketing data to evaluate returns and maximise profitability of marketing investments.
• Maintain direct relationships with chosen agencies and vendors, daily communication, and quality control.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Power Point will be a benefit.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Clearly demonstrable interest in media and research.
• Knowledge of TV/entertainment market will be considered a benefit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Serbian and English for business use
• Proactive, flexible and positive approach to tasks.
• Good work organization and sense of responsibility.
• Enthusiasm for factual and scripted TV content.
• Ability to learn new software tools quickly and efficiently.
