Job Description

We are looking for an Acquisitions Intern to learn how the team manages content acquisition across linear channels and streaming platform by performing essential tasks such as:
• Enter information from licensing agreements into programming and accounting/finance systems, as well as the master files;
• Process invoices related to Acquisitions or Local Productions and track payments;
• Review existing contracts in the system to identify any changes, inconsistencies or missing information (series renewals, date changes, changes in the number of episodes, etc.);
• Provide updated information to the Programmers (calendars, US ratings info, etc.);
• Back office support to effectively liaise with other departments (such as Legal, Finance, Materials, Creative, Marketing, etc.);
• Collect information needed for internal reports (local, regional or global);

Qualifications Required/Preferred:
• Degree in Economics, Business Management or other similar studies;
• Interest in learning, particularly about the Television industry;
• Proactive, dynamic, motivated, responsible, with strong attention to detail and teamwork skills;
• Ability to complete tasks with tight timelines, both collaboratively and by self-managing;
• Proficient on MS Excel;
• Must be fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.

This is a 12 month opportunity within our office in Lisboa.
