Job Description

Magnolia Production Intern - Spring 2022 (Virtual)
Overview

Although our spring internship program will be completely remote (students can apply from anywhere), please be aware that this intern will report into an east coast based manager and therefore should expect to work on eastern standard time.

Here at Magnolia Network we create authentic and compelling content that inspires viewers to move from inspiration to action. We work on a range of unscripted and documentary style shows that range from 5 minutes to 60 minutes. We are excited for an intern to join the team and learn the ins and outs of production from the network's perspective. From this internship, it is our hope that our intern will receive a full understanding of the development, pre-production, production, and post production process.

Responsibilities
Our intern will assist the Production Executives with their creative needs. Interns will learn how to build pitch decks, write loglines and show descriptions, organize and track internal and external ideas in all phases of development, edit casting tapes, and also present series ideas for their intern project. It is our goal to give the intern a hands-on experience so they can learn what it's truly like to work in production.

Qualifications
*Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Film, Digital Media Studies, Broadcasting, Screenwriting, etc.
* Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
