Summer Hybrid Intern - Underscored Analytics

Job Description

The Team
As an intern on the Business Development team, your time would mainly be dedicated to assisting the commerce team on the day-to-day support of Underscored. You will learn about affiliate marketing metrics of success and apply those learning to editorial content insights and optimization efforts.

The Daily:

The tasks could include, but are not limited to:
• Organizing and analyzing data on the Underscored audience.
• Performing a weekly data cleanup to improve the accuracy of revenue and traffic reporting.
• Assisting the team with daily data pulls from multiple dashboards.
• Develop presentation materials for various meetings.
• Performing ad hoc data requests for multiple teams.
• Performing industry analysis.

The Essentials
• Background in Mathematics, Accounting, or Statistics preferred, but not required
• Applicants need to be proficient, if not expert in Excel
• Familiarity in SQL, Python, or R are a plus
• Familiarity with eCommerce or Affiliate Marketing a plus
• Applicants should be comfortable working in a collaborative team setting

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th-August 12th; (additional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system) must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
