Your New Role
As a Product Design intern, you are a member of the world-class CNN Digital Product Design Team, which is responsible for creating industry-leading user experiences engaged by millions across the globe. A Product Design intern collaborates with product managers, engineers, designers, researchers, editors, and data scientists to support the building and growth of CNN Digital product experiences.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Supports the Audio and Video Product Design team across all phases of the design process, from conception to implementation, including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
• Supports the planning and execution of user research and gathering of qualitative data to help build hypothesis & design recommendations.
• Partners & collaborates with internal stakeholders and product design leads to support product goals and company objectives.
• Proactively seeks thoughtful solutions to design problems.
• Creates work flows, wireframes, design mockups and prototypes to effectively conceptualize product features.
• Conducts regular user research sessions with editorial users.
• Performs usability tests and draw insights to make informed recommendations.
• Collaborates with Product, Tech and Delivery.
• Plays a role in shaping the future of CNN publishing platforms by collaborating with stakeholders and team members to brainstorm new features and functionalities.
Qualifications & Experience
• Majoring in Design or related field of study.

• Must be actively enrolled in a US accredited college or university degree p rogram for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
• Must be a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
• Must be in academic good standing (3.0
or above GPA)

Program date s:
• Start Date: January 29 th
• End Date: April 19 th
Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. R elocation is not provided.
Interviewing will take place from
October through mid- December . A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns, $25 per hour USD for graduate level interns.
