Intern, Production/Video Editing (Summer 2025)

The post-production internship will be a 3 months assignment, with the opportunity to extend, supporting CNN's Features content & potential breaking news.

The selected candidate will work with the CNN APAC Production/Video Editing team, supporting particularly the Editors and Feature Producer and in all post-production matters.

The intern will get to work within a creative & intensive news production environment. The candidate should have a keen understanding of global news & content features of CNNI. They should have proven experience in editing software and a keen interest and understanding of film production.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Assisting with video editing of feature and news content
• Media management of programs and raw footages
• Assisting the editors with music sourcing, organizing edit projects and prepping footages

Qualifications/Experience
• Ability to work to deadline and under time pressure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong ability with editing software such as adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be passionate about content marketing, creative production, and visual storytelling
• Must be currently enrolled in a university.
• Must be eligible to work in HK without sponsorship. All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to starting the internship; Interns are paid at minimum wage.
• Candidates must have the right of abode in Hong Kong or hold a valid student visa and No Objection Letter (NOL) from the Hong Kong Immigration Department.
• Candidates are required to commit for a minimum duration of 3 months, starting from May/June 2025.
