The Job

The CNN.com Opinion team is looking for a Fall intern to assist the department.

The Daily
• The CNN.com Opinion internship will involve research, fact checking, production of opinion articles and associated use of social media.
• The intern will work side-by-side with producers of CNN's popular opinion section, helping to identify potential topics and writers.

The Essentials
• Candidates should be passionate about news, self-motivated, able to multitask, have a good attitude, and be able to function well in fast paced, high volume environment.
• Knowledge of and experience in social media is highly desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Photoshop is desirable.

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Fall 2022 program dates are October 3rd – December 9th; must be available for full program duration
• Part-time schedule (16-24 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer or secured remote access provided for the duration of the internship program.
