Internships & Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

Front End Web Development – The Frontend Engineering team at CNBC.com is looking for a talented intern to join our incredible engineering culture. You will work alongside software engineers building real-world features that are consumed daily by an audience of millions. Your primary focus is engineering, but you will also collaborate with all facets of our web engineering practices. This includes working with product on understanding and clarifying requirements, working with our design team to make sure features are pixel-perfect, and testing with our quality engineers to make sure your features are bug-free.

iOS Development – As an iOS Development Intern, you will work as a fully-integrated member of the CNBC Mobile Engineering team, working on CNBC's flagship iOS App. You will work closely with peers from engineering, product, and design to move our platforms forward. In this internship, you will gain experience and insight from working with an Agile process withing a CI/CD pipeline on an enterprise application.

Product Management – Working with product management team, you'll have a cross-functional role in creating high-quality user experiences to drive engagement and revenue to impact CNBC's readers and business growth materially. In this role, you will find yourself embedded in a web team with designers, engineers, and product managers to contribute to the team's work. You will have robust support and mentorship from the product management team throughout your internship, and you will come away with a better sense of the practice and craft of product management and how it plays out in a real-world setting.

Project Management (PMO) – As a Project Management Intern within the CNBC Product and Technology team, you will have the opportunity to learn and experience how Agile teams deliver technical projects to reach our customers across our various platforms including the Web, Mobile, Voice and OTT platforms. The Project Management intern will assist Project Managers with day-to-day management of the product development lifecycle gaining hands-on experience with the tools and processes needed to drive execution of technical initiatives from inception to launch.

Dev Operations – The CNBC Digital Technology team is looking for an intern with experience in configuring and documenting computer systems and server infrastructures that power web applications, client-server applications and online services. This role requires knowledge in software design, systems configuration and infrastructure and business processes. The intern is expected to be able to use experience gained in the classroom to apply to practical computing challenges in the business world.

Qualifications/Requirements
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.

Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal

Desired Characteristics

Strong interest in the media and/or technology industry; avid business news reader is a plus

Commitment to building an inclusive work environment

Ability to multitask and highly organized

Excellent verbal and written communication

Understanding both qualitative and quantitative data

Previous internship experience or on-campus leadership; technology environment preferred

Knowledge of HTML, C++, CSS, Java, Javascript, Github, Maven, PHP, Swift, Xcode Unix/Linux scripting, Node.js and relational databases and/or web development

For Mobile: Experience with data structures and algorithms via completed coursework, projects, or other individual experience preferred. Experience with XCTest and/or XCUITest, cocoapods, Fastlane, Firebase, or Jenkins is a big plus.
