Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
The digital journalism intern will assist in the production of news stories for the site, cut video clips of reporter stories from the WBZ-TV newscasts and learn the basics of SEO and social media for CBS Boston.com.
The intern will work under the supervision of our evening web producer three nights a week for ten weeks.
This is an educational program designed for college students who are interested in pursuing a career in broadcast journalism. It will provide an opportunity for you to learn the operation of the department assigned to while, at the same time allow you to perform some of the job functions that are critical to the learning process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
College students (Verification required) who are currently attending a accredited college and have achieved junior status are eligible. Participants must have good computer skills, excellent written skills and verbal communication abilities.
