Are you interested in the Television News business? Do you want to put all that hard work at college into practice? KTVT, The CBS Station in Dallas/Fort Worth internship program is designed for students currently enrolled at a college or university focused on Journalism and Broadcast.

Responsibilities:
• Learn about all aspects of News gatherings from conception to execution. This includes, developing story ideas, monitoring assignments, gathering data and facts, writing news scripts, scheduling and interviewing subjects, editing, and programming newscast.
• Execute assigned project by completion of internship duration. Project topics vary depending on season (i.e. political, sports, breaking news, etc.).
• Complete ride-alongs with On-Air Talent and Photographers.
• Engage in Editorial Meetings by routinely pitching story ideas.
• Work alongside Digital Producers to understand website, social media, and streaming management.
• Work alongside Creative Services team to understand station marketing and promotions processes.
• Work alongside Sports team to understand sports segments, producing, and media coverage as the Dallas Cowboys preferred media partner.
Eligibility:
• Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Master's students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends.
• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
• Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
