Strategic Marketing Intern - Spring 2021 (Remote)


The Strategic Planning department with CBS Marketing is looking for a student to join their team for the spring semester. This remote internship requires 2-3 full days/week of availability. Students may be in any location, but must be available to work from 9am-5:30pm pacific standard time.

Job Responsibilities:
• Competitive Reporting - use deskside research and industry tools to pull and analyze competitive marketing campaigns
• Looking at both linear and streaming networks/programming, determine how competitors are using both owned and paid resources
• Work with marketing analyst and CBS Research to source data
• Present final findings to marketing executives
• Consolidate internal marketing learnings and research across multiple sources and shows to track performance and identify trends
• Participate in brainstorms for marketing campaigns

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the internship
• Must be available 2-3 full days per week from 9am-5:30pm PST
• Must have a computer with internet access
• Must be reliable and comfortable working independently
• Television programming experience is preferred
• Passion for television and marketing is required
• Eager to learn and self-starter
• Organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
