Division Overview:
Our Distribution & Operations team works on expanding distribution of our best-in-class CBS content across multiple types of digital partnerships and business models, including (but not limited to) transactional, ad-supported streaming, subscription video on demand (with CBS All Access), and digital OTT products and partnerships. We are a diverse and agile team that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and partnering with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we bring CBS content to consumers, however and wherever they want to consume content.

Role Details:

The Partner Operations Distribution Intern will support and assist the linear and VOD distribution team in the day-to-day technical operations and linear expansion efforts of digital streams on our digital OTT platforms as well as the tracking of VOD programming. Daily operational tasks include, but not limited to: supporting the partner operations team in linear onboarding, tracking asset deliverables, maintaining tracking schedules and providing support in project management efforts.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Assist in onboarding efforts including organizing and archiving asset deliverables
• Assist in investigating and troubleshooting technical issues that may arise
• Perform content programming audits pre and post launch
• Help with workflow and process documentation
• Track quality control reports
• Work on special projects as assigned

Logistics
• This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have -
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Passion and interest in the entertainment and streaming industry
• Must be extremely organized
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deliver against tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent command of the English language
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets

You might also have -
• Knowledge of scripting, SQL, and database creation
• Technical writing interest and experience
• Prior internship experience with another studio, especially one with a streaming service

Additional Requirements:
• Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or bootcamp
• Must be at least 18 years old
