The Team

The Social Media internship is an amazing opportunity for a creative, competent, and confident rising star to work on Cartoon Network's Social Media team.
Our mission is to create fun and engagement content for millions of our fans on Social Media (Instagram, Facebook,Twitter,Youtube,TikTok etc)

The Job

We are looking for the following types of creatives: - Video editors - Illustrators - Animators - Photographers - Videographers - Motion Graphics Designers - Graphic Designers

The Daily
• Work with the Art Director to concept and execute content from start to finish
• Create fun and sharable illustrations/images
• Create graphics and design elements for YouTube videos and - various video content
• Repurpose/rework existing artwork into different formats
• Manage/organize raw media as well as finished assets

The Essentials
• Portfolio website or presentation
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience or education in the creative field
• Fluent in Adobe design programs
• Excellent time management skills in order to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with
• Ability to clearly present concepts, and execute project from start to - finish
• Ability to take direction, follow up, and follow through with project
• Eagerness to learn new skills
• Fluency and passion for social media platforms preferred

• Flexibility to work on some weekends
• Event coverage experience
• Knowledge of emerging social/sharable trends

Summer 2020 program dates are June 1st through August 7th. Interns are paid a competitive-wage based on location and relocation is not provided. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
