The Role

BuzzFeed is looking for an enterprising and eager undergraduate student to join the Studio team for summer 2020. This internship is a full-time, paid opportunity based in Los Angeles. This internship if offered to incoming sophomores, juniors or seniors enrolled in college. If you are graduating in 2020, you will not qualify for this internship. Undergraduate and graduate students will be considered.

Leaning into the massive popularity of BuzzFeed's entertainment and news networks, which reach hundreds of millions of people globally , BuzzFeed Studios creates and distributes premium programming to linear, digital, and OTT platforms. This position will allow you to learn how BuzzFeed develops films, TV shows, interactive programming.

You Will
• Provide direct support to the LA Studio team including the Director of IP Development, Development Executive, and our Development Manager
• Assist our Development Coordinator with scheduling internal and external meetings
• Help generate and organize pitch materials
• Research and create lists of talent, including writers and directors, for development projects
• Help coordinate and track pitch submissions
• Work cross-functionally with multiple teams at BuzzFeed including Legal and Research

You Have
• Must be currently enrolled in either a 4-year or 2-year undergraduate program
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Proficiency with Google Suite
• And of course, an interest in film/TV development and production!
