Job Description
Amazon Studios is looking to hire a committed and self-motivated Distribution Ops Intern to support and aid our Distribution Operations team. Our team works very closely with various in territory cross-functional teams in several verticals (Post Management, Localization, Delivery, Technology, Legal, Brand Marketing, and Prime Video Strategic Ops Studio Delivery & Enhancement, etc.) to ensure on-time delivery and content readiness to launch globally across all platforms.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, organized planner with the demonstrated ability to deliver results and respond efficiently while maintaining flexibility. A positive attitude despite the pressures of a fast-paced environment is essential. The position requires Bias for Action with limited guidance, effectively managing multiple priorities with strong judgment and savvy problem-solving skills.

As an intern, you will learn what happens when an Amazon original movie/series delivers final content to a studio and how the ''post post'' world takes ownership on getting the product on prime video worldwide.

We will provide a deep dive into post production deliveries and what that looks like for our customers. As well as provide opportunities to work on high level projects.

Key job responsibilities
• Track title tech specs and key dates for delivery; ensure timely updates to the Show Assignment Calendar.
• Deep dive into compliance edits and territory suppression on previous launches as well as update territory merge information.
• Support the Distribution Ops Managers on High profile series launches and projects
Troubleshoot content, track and report issues.
• Manage administrative support functions, including document preparation.
• Organize vendor events.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program at time of application.
• You are results-driven with analytical skills and the desire to innovate and simplify current process and practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous work experience – internship at a studio, post house, or independent production company in a related field.
• Ability to work successfully, meeting tight deadlines and prioritize workload even when faced with conflicting priorities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $16.83/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $40.43/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
