The Team

Despite the warnings, are you willing to cross the streams? Can you code, stage, and deploy with lightning-like reflexes? Then you need to join the Adult Swim web dev team on the front lines of new digital media entertainment.

The Job

Adult Swim Streams Web Developer Internship.

The Daily
• Code websites using modern languages and frameworks. Must be able to use HTML, CSS3/LESS, Javascript (ES6) and NodeJS
• Development of promotional microsites on adultswim.com
• Use of Amazon Web Services and Docker
• Adding new content/pages to the website
• Scheduling deployment of clips and episodes
• Help manage and create content for our codepen account
• Daily site checks to ensure browser/operating system compatibility and functionality will be required.
• Responding with appropriate triage, notification, and (in some cases) correction of errant content is also a must.

The Essentials
• Experience with creating and using APIs
• Development using a framework such as React, Angular or Vue
• Working with Git
• Knowledge of the following is a plus: AWS, Docker, NGINX, PHP, Three.js, Webpack, Gulp
• The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, currently enrolled in a four-year college or university.
• There must be an interest in the online community and Adult Swim digital content.
• Must be able to commit a minimum of 20-30 hours per week during normal business hours.
• Intern must be able to work in a team-based environment with a focus on fast turnarounds.

Summer 2020 program dates are June 1st through August 7th. Interns are paid a competitive-wage based on location and relocation is not provided. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
