Acquisitions & Development (Remote)

A24 is seeking to hire an Acquisitions and Development intern to support the team. Must be available up to 30 hours per week, from September 12th 2022 through December 16th 2022. This position is remote.

Initial Responsibilities
• Script coverage –A key responsibility would be to write weekly coverages of a script/book submission following our coverage format which includes a log line, summary, comments sections and a PASS or CONSIDER note
• Support Acquisitions team with administrative tasks – errands, scheduling needs, assist with festival prep: help track reviews, help make reservations, and confirm that the festival and scheduling information are accurate

Qualifications
• Diligent, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Someone who is concise, able to evaluate information qualitatively and provide thoughtful feedback when writing coverages
• Humble, diligent and resourceful

Current films include The Daniels' Everything Everywhere All At Once, Alex Garland's Men, Jenny Slate and Dean Fleischer Camp's Marcel the Shell with Shoes On and upcoming films Ari Aster's Disappointment Blvd. starring Joaquin Phoenix, and Celine Song's directorial debut Past Lives.
