Technical Art Director (W/M/NB) [AAA Project]

• Develop and implement technology roadmaps tailored to the specific needs of the project;
• Identify potential risks and report them to management;
• Act as a reference for the team in all matters related to Technical Art and provide solutions to complex issues;
• Optimize content to improve memory usage and performance;
• Contribute to asset development and rendering (models, shaders, textures) when necessary;
• Communicate effectively and encourage open dialogue within the team;
• Stay up to date with current and emerging trends and methodologies in graphics software and hardware (including generative AI) to anticipate tooling and workflow needs.... across pre-production, production, and early stages of a multiplayer game developed with Unreal Engine 5.
• Significant experience with Unreal Engine (Nanite, Chaos, Landscape, Blueprint, Megalights, Insights), along with a strong understanding of realistic art workflows and production pipelines.
• Experience worked on a wide range of world-building topics such as level art, destruction systems (e.g., Chaos), lighting, props, level design, landscapes, water, etc.
• Strong technical skills in performance, optimization, pipelines, and a solid understanding of replication challenges.
• Proficient in at least one 3D modeling software (Blender, 3DS Max, Substance Designer, Maya, etc.) as well as generative AI tools (ComfyUI, MidJourney, NanoBanana, Hunyuan, etc.).
• Solid scripting skills (Maxscript, Python, etc.)
• Versatile and have a strong understanding of world-building challenges, with excellent synthesis skills and strong interpersonal abilities that enable you to
