DESCRIPTION:

The SVP, Strategic Finance is a key member of the Corporate Finance organization, reports to EVP, Corporate Finance, supports the CFO and works closely with Investor Relations and Division leadership. Partners with multiple stakeholders to: model short and long-term financials, incorporating trends in the media industry; lead the integrated long-range financial planning process; and oversee a team that has a comprehensive understanding of all key business drivers at the consolidated enterprise and division levels.

Responsibilities
• Build and maintain financial models capturing short/long-term impacts of trends in the industry and impacts on our studios, networks, and OTT businesses
• Using up-to-date market data, model foreseen impacts to advertising, affiliate and content licensing revenues
• Develop best in class cash flow modeling for the business, incorporating current AI/software predictive modeling capabilities
• Proactively maintain competitor analysis and a point of view on industry trends, coordinating with Investor Relations for presentations to senior executives and the Board
• Implement integrated long-range planning process, and develop standardized templates, processes, and calendar to be used across all division finance organizations
• Partner with division leaders, Corporate Strategy, M&A, Investor Relations and Transformation office to ensure that LRP targets are aligned with division context, trends, pivotal initiatives and associated targets
• Work with CFO, division CFOs/finance partners and other leadership to develop quarterly Board of Director reporting, presentations and ad-hoc analysis
• Act as a support to business leads, providing decision support to achieve business goals
• Lead and develop finance team day-to-day by encouraging professional impact and a culture of feedback, support professional development

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic Qualifications
• 15+ years in Finance; preferably within the Media/Entertainment industry
• Bachelor's Degree

Additional Qualifications
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Highly analytical, able to synthesize data and provide insightful narratives
• Strong project management, organizational skills, attention to detail and work ethic
• Results-oriented with ability to balance multiple assignments at a time in a fast paced environment to achieve desired results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey information to a variety of internal and external audiences
• Experience creating materials for and communicating with CEO, CFO and Board
• Able to build positive relationships with finance peers
• Forward thinking, anticipating analysis needed by CFO and Senior Management
• Self-starter able lead a high-performing team
• Inspirational leader with strong change management skills
