Radio - Afternoon Drive Host

Entercom Pittsburgh is searching for its next afternoon show host. This is a prime position for a major talent on The Voice of Pittsburgh. Candidates must have a dynamic on air delivery, discuss any topic with passion, someone who lives and breathes the news cycle and has the ability to ''read the day'' and translate it to the audience. Can you light up the phone lines and keep the conversation moving and interesting? Then we are interested in talking to you.

The candidate must be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
• Create original content and perform a live, three-hour weekday afternoon broadcast
• Participate and create original content for all social media platforms while managing their online personality presence
• Possess solid news acumen that can be balanced with strong opinion-based content
• Craft multiple articles per week for kdkaradio.com website
• Edit sound for air and possesses rudimentary production skills
• Make personal appearances for station events and host remote broadcasts in a post Covid-19 world

Qualifications:
• 5 Years of experience hosting
• Content creation experience for social media platforms
• Ability to write/edit own articles for website
• Audio editing
• Strong news acumen
• College degree preferred
• Ability to provide strong professional references
